How To Knock the Employer\'s Dead (Part1)
Before we start the series of tough questions from employers, it is important that I mention, every question is a chance for you to demonstrate those desirable professional behavious that employers are looking for such as

communication and listening skills
goal orientation;
willingness to be a team player;
motivation and energy
analytical skills;
dedication and reliability;
determination;
confidence;
pride and integrity.

When you have these desirable professional behaviours, make sure that the interviewer not only knows about them but that they can picture you using them for their benefit. Presenting them in action by illustrating your answers with meaningful anecdotes is the key to success in every interview that you undertake.

Th reason that these learnable behaviours are so universally admired is that they relate to profit and the ongoing competitiveness of a company. Using examples in your answers to interview questions ( as well as in your CV and covering letters) will make you stand out as someone worthy of special consideration.

Now we start evaluating some stressful questions from employers.

Q. Describe how your job relates to the overall goals of your department and company.

A. This can be a stand-alone question or a follow-up to the previous one. This not only probes your understanding of the departmental and corporate missions, but also obliquely checks into your ability to function as team member to get the work done. Consequently, whatever the specfics of your answer, include words to this effect " The quality of my work directly affects the ability of others to do their work properly. As a team member, one has to be aware of the other players and our common goals."

Q.What have you learnt from jobs you have held?

A. Tie your answers to your business and professional profile. The interviewer needs to understand that you seek and can accept constructive advice, and that your business decisons are based on ultimate good of the company, not your personal whim or preference. 'More than anything, I have learnt that what is good for the company is good for me. So l listen very carefully to directions and always keep my boss informed of my actions'
